flat-earther
Sphere skeptic type
A flat-earther believes the Earth is flat rather than spherical, rejecting established science.
The term usually carries dismissive connotations, implying someone who ignores overwhelming evidence: Don't bother arguing with him—he's a flat-earther.
By extension, flat-earther describes anyone holding beliefs that contradict well-established facts: Climate flat-earthers refuse to accept the data.
