natural order
How things belong
Natural order is the way things are supposed to be, or the way they have always been—an arrangement seen as inherent rather than imposed.
The phrase often appears in arguments about what's normal or inevitable: Hierarchy is part of the natural order.
It can justify existing power structures or resist change: They claimed the natural order placed men above women.
In biology, natural order once meant a taxonomic grouping of related organisms.
