fatalist
Believes fate rules
A fatalist believes that events are predetermined and human effort cannot change outcomes.
The term carries connotations of passive resignation—a fatalist accepts whatever happens rather than fighting against it: He was a fatalist about his health, refusing to see doctors.
Fatalism can be philosophical conviction or simply a temperament that shrugs at circumstance.
