exposed brick
Trendy wall aesthetic
Exposed brick is interior brick left visible rather than covered by plaster or drywall.
Once considered unfinished or industrial, it became a sought-after aesthetic feature in homes and restaurants: The loft had gorgeous exposed brick throughout.
The term signals a particular urban-rustic style associated with converted warehouses and trendy renovations.
