exploder
Thing that bursts
An exploder is a device that detonates explosives, typically by sending an electrical charge through wires to a blasting cap: The demolition crew connected the charges to the exploder.
More loosely, exploder refers to anything or anyone that explodes or causes explosions.
In older usage, an exploder was someone who debunked or rejected ideas—from explode's original sense of driving off with derision.
