drilling platforms
Ocean oil structures
Drilling platforms are large structures used to extract oil or natural gas from beneath the ocean floor.
They may be fixed to the seabed, float on the surface, or rest on the seafloor itself.
Some platforms are permanent installations; others are mobile rigs that move between drilling sites.
The company operates three drilling platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.
