drays
Low flatbed carts
Drays are heavy carts or wagons without sides, typically used for hauling barrels, casks, or other bulky goods.
Historically pulled by draft horses, drays were common for brewery deliveries and dockside transport.
The term persists in some place names and in dray horse, a breed suited to such work.
The brewery still runs drays through the old town for tourists.
