dimensioning
Adding size annotations
Dimensioning is the process of specifying measurements on technical drawings, blueprints, or designs.
In engineering and architecture, proper dimensioning tells manufacturers or builders exactly how large each component should be: The dimensioning on these plans is incomplete—there's no measurement for the window height.
The term also applies to adding size specifications in CAD software.
