artistic rendering

An artistic rendering is a visual representation of something—often a building, product, or scene—created by an artist rather than photographed or mechanically produced.

The term emphasizes interpretation over documentation: The architect presented artistic renderings of the proposed tower.

Renderings typically show how something will look before it exists, or how it might look from an idealized perspective.
