decorative moldings
Fancy wall edges
Decorative moldings are strips of material—typically wood, plaster, or synthetic composites—shaped with ornamental profiles and applied to walls, ceilings, or furniture.
Crown molding runs where walls meet ceilings; baseboards cover the junction with floors.
The patterns range from simple curves to elaborate classical motifs: The Victorian home featured decorative moldings throughout.
