data-point

One recorded measurement

A data-point is a single piece of information within a larger set—one measurement, observation, or fact that contributes to analysis or argument.

In statistics, it's a discrete value on a graph or chart.

More loosely, any piece of evidence supporting a conclusion: That's just one data-point, but it's worth noting.

Also spelled as one word or two.
