dandy
Excessively stylish man
A dandy is a man excessively devoted to elegant dress and refined manners.
The word carries a whiff of affectation—someone more concerned with appearance than substance: He fussed over his cravat like a Victorian dandy.
As an adjective, dandy means fine or satisfactory, often with mild irony: Well, that's just dandy.
The informal dandy suggests something is acceptable, though rarely enthusiastic: Everything's dandy.
