convex polygon
No inward angles
A convex polygon is a polygon where all interior angles are less than 180 degrees and every line segment between two points inside the shape stays entirely within the shape.
No part of a convex polygon caves inward—all vertices point outward.
Triangles are always convex; rectangles and regular hexagons are convex.
A star shape is not convex because some vertices point inward.
