conn
Guide the ship
Conn is a nautical term meaning to direct the steering of a ship, especially through difficult waters or maneuvers: The captain conned the vessel through the narrow channel.
The conn (also con) refers to the position of control: to have the conn, to take the conn.
On submarines, the conning tower is the raised structure from which the vessel was traditionally navigated.
