bunco
Crooked dice scheme
Bunco is a swindle or confidence game—a scheme to cheat someone out of money through deception: a bunco artist, bunco squad.
The word is somewhat dated, associated with early 20th-century police terminology.
Bunco is also a simple dice game played socially, usually by groups of women: Tuesday night bunco.
