colinearity
Lying same line
Colinearity describes points lying on the same straight line.
In geometry, three or more points are colinear if a single line passes through all of them.
In statistics, colinearity (or multicollinearity) refers to predictor variables in regression that are highly correlated with each other, making it difficult to isolate their individual effects: The model suffered from colinearity between income and education level.
Also spelled collinearity.
