bivariate
Involving two variables
Bivariate describes data or analysis involving two variables: bivariate correlation, bivariate regression.
The term appears in statistics when examining how two measurements relate to each other—whether height predicts weight, or education level correlates with income.
Contrast with univariate (one variable) and multivariate (more than two).
