co-dominance
Both alleles fully manifest
Co-dominance is a genetic relationship where two different alleles are both fully expressed in an organism, rather than one masking the other.
Neither is dominant or recessive—both contribute visibly to the phenotype.
The classic example is a flower inheriting one red allele and one white allele, producing petals with both red and white patches rather than a blend.
