chromatic scale
All twelve tones
A chromatic scale in music is a sequence of twelve notes, each separated by a half step (or semitone), spanning one octave.
Unlike major or minor scales that skip certain notes, the chromatic scale includes every pitch available in Western music, moving incrementally up or down the keyboard or fretboard.
Composers use chromatic passages to create tension, color, or smooth transitions between keys.
