cesarian
Abdomen delivery method
A cesarian is a surgical delivery of a baby through an incision in the mother's abdomen and uterus, bypassing the birth canal.
The procedure is named after Julius Caesar, supposedly born this way, though the story is likely legend.
Also spelled caesarean or cesarean: She had to have an emergency cesarian.
