caesarian
Abdominal delivery method
Caesarian refers to a caesarian section, a surgical procedure for delivering a baby through an incision in the mother's abdomen and uterus rather than through the birth canal: She had a caesarian with her first child.
The spelling caesarean is also common, and the American spelling drops the a: cesarian or cesarean.
Often shortened to C-section.
