cap-gun
Noisy play weapon
A cap-gun is a toy pistol that fires paper caps—small discs containing a trace of explosive that produces a sharp bang and a puff of smoke when struck.
Children use them to simulate gunfire in play: The kids ran through the yard with their cap-guns, playing cops and robbers.
