canine tooth
Pointed human fang
A canine tooth is one of the pointed teeth between the incisors and premolars, used for tearing food.
Humans have four canines—two upper, two lower—while in many animals they're more prominent, sometimes called fangs.
Also called a cuspid or eyetooth: The dentist said my canine tooth needed a crown.
