cabriole
Curved furniture leg
A cabriole is a curved furniture leg that swells outward at the top and tapers to an ornamental foot, characteristic of Queen Anne and Chippendale styles: The antique chair had elegant cabrioles ending in claw-and-ball feet.
In ballet, a cabriole is a leap in which the dancer beats one leg against the other in midair.
