bulls-eye

Center of target

Bulls-eye (also bull's-eye or bullseye) is the center of a target—the spot that scores highest when hit.

By extension, any direct hit or perfect success: That comment was a bulls-eye.

The term applies to round things resembling a target's center: a bulls-eye window is circular, and a bulls-eye candy is a hard sweet with concentric rings.
