bronze weapons
Pre-iron age arsenal
Bronze weapons are armaments made from bronze, an alloy of copper and tin that dominated warfare from roughly 3000 BCE until iron became prevalent around 1200 BCE.
Swords, spearheads, daggers, and arrowheads of the Bronze Age were harder and more durable than earlier stone or copper weapons, though softer than later iron and steel.
The museum displayed bronze weapons from ancient Mesopotamia.
