bronze casting
Alloy sculpture method
Bronze casting is a metalworking technique for creating sculptures, tools, or decorative objects by pouring molten bronze into a mold.
The lost-wax method has been used since antiquity: a wax model is encased in heat-resistant material, the wax melted out, and bronze poured into the resulting cavity.
The museum houses bronze castings from ancient Greece.
