book publishing
Printing and distribution
Book publishing is the business of producing and distributing books—acquiring manuscripts, editing them, designing covers and layouts, printing or digitizing, and getting finished products to readers.
Traditional publishers handle these functions and pay authors royalties; self-publishing lets authors manage the process themselves.
She's been in book publishing for twenty years.
