bellies
Torsos' soft centers
Bellies is the plural of belly—the front of the body between chest and pelvis, or the underside of an animal.
The word extends to bulging or rounded surfaces: the belly of a ship, the belly of a guitar.
As a verb, bellies means to swell outward: The sail bellies in the wind.
To belly up is to approach closely, as to a bar, or to fail completely: The company bellied up after two years.
