bellbottoms
Wide-cuffed pants
Bellbottoms are pants that fit snugly through the thigh and flare dramatically from the knee down, the leg opening shaped like a bell.
They became iconic in the 1960s and 70s, associated with hippie culture and disco fashion: She wore bellbottoms and platform shoes.
The style resurfaces periodically, sometimes called flares.
