beach running
Sand sprint exercise
Beach running is running on a sandy beach, typically along the shoreline.
The soft, uneven surface makes it more challenging than running on pavement, engaging different muscles and increasing the workout intensity.
Runners may go barefoot or wear shoes depending on sand firmness: I do my beach running at low tide when the sand is packed.
