apple wine
Fermented fruit alcohol
Apple wine is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting apple juice, similar to grape wine in production method and alcohol content.
It differs from hard cider primarily in having higher alcohol levels and often being made with added sugar.
The orchard sold bottles of their apple wine at the farmers market.
