pear cider
Fermented fruit drink
Pear cider is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting pear juice, the pear equivalent of apple cider.
The traditional British term is perry, though pear cider has become common in commercial marketing: I'll have a pear cider instead of beer.
Like apple cider, it ranges from dry to sweet.
