anatomies
Bodies and their parts
Anatomies is the plural of anatomy—the structure of a body or organism, or the scientific study of such structures.
Multiple anatomies might refer to different species' body plans, different individuals' physical makeup, or various examinations of bodily structure: The anatomies of insects vary dramatically across orders.
Figuratively, anatomies can mean detailed analyses: anatomies of power, anatomies of failure.
