Approved access roster
A list of items explicitly permitted or approved, as opposed to a blocklist of prohibited items.
In computing, an allowlist specifies which programs, users, or addresses may access a system: Only allowlisted IP addresses can connect to the server.
The term emerged as a neutral alternative to "whitelist." As a verb, to allowlist is to add something to such a list.
