airway
Route for breath
An airway is a passage for air.
In anatomy, it's the route air travels through the nose, throat, and lungs—medical personnel clear the airway in emergencies.
In aviation, an airway is a designated flight path: commercial airways over the Atlantic.
An airway can also mean an airline company, often appearing in corporate names.
