Yokohama

Japan's second city

Yokohama is Japan's second-largest city, a major port on Tokyo Bay south of the capital.

The city became Japan's gateway to Western trade after its harbor opened in 1859, and it remains one of the world's busiest ports.

The ship docked at Yokohama before passengers continued to Tokyo.
