X-Acto
Precision cutting brand
X-Acto is a brand of precision cutting tools, especially the small hobby knife with a replaceable razor blade used for detailed work in crafts, model-making, and graphic design.
The name has become generic for any similar precision knife: She trimmed the mat board with an X-Acto knife.
The blade's sharpness makes it useful for cuts requiring more control than scissors allow.
