Weaving

Creating cloth manually

Weaving is the craft of interlacing threads or yarns to create fabric, typically done on a loom where vertical warp threads are crossed by horizontal weft threads.

The term extends to any process of interlacing flexible materials, such as basket weaving.

As a verb form, weaving also describes movement that winds back and forth: The cyclist was weaving through traffic.

Someone weaving a story or tale is constructing it by combining various elements into a coherent whole.
