UV-A

Aging skin culprit

UV-A is the longest-wavelength form of ultraviolet radiation, spanning roughly 315 to 400 nanometers.

Unlike UV-B and UV-C, most UV-A passes through the atmosphere and penetrates deep into the skin, contributing to aging and some skin cancers.

Tanning beds rely primarily on UV-A.

Also written UVA.
