Traveling Wilburys

Dylan-Orbison-Harrison band

The Traveling Wilburys were a rock supergroup formed in 1988, comprising Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty.

They released two albums before Orbison's death effectively ended the project.

The name plays on "traveling" as touring musicians and "Wilburys" as a fictional family of brothers, each member adopting a Wilbury pseudonym.
