Studebaker

South Bend carmaker

Studebaker was an American automobile manufacturer that operated from 1902 to 1966, originally a wagon and carriage company founded in the 1850s.

The name survives mainly in references to vintage cars: My grandfather restored a 1950 Studebaker.

Studebakers are prized by collectors, and the name evokes mid-century American automotive history.
