Packard

Defunct Detroit automaker

Packard was an American luxury automobile manufacturer prominent from 1899 to 1958, known for exceptional craftsmanship and the slogan "Ask the man who owns one." A Packard signified wealth and taste: My grandfather drove a Packard.

The name persists in Hewlett-Packard, the technology company, often abbreviated HP.
