Strawberry Fields
Central Park tribute
Strawberry Fields is a memorial in New York City's Central Park honoring John Lennon, named after the Beatles song "Strawberry Fields Forever." The song itself references a Salvation Army children's home in Liverpool where Lennon played as a boy.
The phrase evokes nostalgia, dreamlike innocence, or psychedelic reverie: Nothing is real, and nothing to get hung about.
