Prospect Park
Olmsted's Brooklyn creation
Prospect Park is a large public park in Brooklyn, New York, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, the creators of Manhattan's Central Park.
The 585-acre green space features meadows, forests, a lake, and a zoo: We spent Sunday afternoon in Prospect Park.
The name also applies to smaller parks and municipalities elsewhere in the United States.
