Sir Galahad
Grail quest champion
Sir Galahad is a knight of King Arthur's Round Table, famed in medieval legend as the purest and most virtuous of all knights—the only one worthy to achieve the Holy Grail.
The name now serves as shorthand for someone of exceptional moral purity or chivalrous idealism: He's no Sir Galahad suggests someone falls short of noble standards.
A Galahad may also be gently mocked as naively idealistic.
