RADAR
Radio-based location system
Radar is a system that detects objects by sending out radio waves and measuring their reflections.
Originally a military technology for tracking aircraft and ships, radar now guides air traffic, forecasts weather, and enforces speed limits.
Figuratively, on my radar means within awareness or attention: That issue wasn't even on my radar until yesterday.
To fly under the radar is to avoid notice.
