Phil Hartman
Phil Hartman (1948–1998) was a Canadian-American actor and comedian best known for his work on *Saturday Night Live* and *The Simpsons*, where he voiced Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz.
His ability to play smug, confident characters with deadpan delivery made him a versatile performer.
He was murdered by his wife in a murder-suicide, ending a career that had earned him the nickname "the Glue" for his steadying presence in ensemble casts.
