Paula Abdul
Paula Abdul is an American singer, dancer, and television personality who rose to fame in the late 1980s with pop hits like "Straight Up" and "Opposites Attract." Before her solo career, she choreographed for the Los Angeles Lakers cheerleading squad and music videos.
She later became widely known as a judge on *American Idol*, where her warm, sometimes incoherent commentary made her a pop culture fixture.
