Paul Signac
Paul Signac was a French painter (1863–1935) who helped develop pointillism alongside Georges Seurat.
After Seurat's death, Signac became the leading advocate for the technique, applying small dots or dashes of pure color to create luminous effects.
His theoretical writings and vibrant seascapes influenced the Fauves and other early modernists.
